Topline Equestrian offers hunter, jumper and equitation training. We provide riding lessons to students of all ages and experience levels. We cater to children from age 3 to adults. Our program offers private and group lessons that focus on building competent riders in a safe and fun atmosphere. We know the importance of a healthy environment to learn and love working with families. Having a wholesome family atmosphere at the farm is something we value along with responsibility, respect, and honesty. The lesson program at Topline Equestrian was established in 2009. Since then, Jen has carefully crafted a safe environment and teaching practices to promote effective, confident riders who learn proper horsemanship. In order to evaluate a prospective student’s skill level and potential, we begin with an evaluation lesson. This private, one-on-one assessment allows the instructor to establish a relationship with the student, determine their current level, and customize a plan for their future growth and progression.
REGULAR WEEKLY LESSONS
$180/MONTH ($45/LESSON)
One hour group, 45 minute semi-private or 30 minute private lesson.
*There is a $30/lesson charge for use of a school horse.
*There is a $10/lesson trailer-in, facility fee for those bringing their own mount for lessons.
*Lesson payments are due on or before the 1st calendar day of each month. Payments received after the 5th of the month will be responsible for the $200/month (plus school horse fees) pay-as-you go pricing, rather than the discounted amount for paying in advance. A monthly package must be purchased in order to hold a consistent weekly lesson spot. All monthly payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
PRACTICE RIDES ON SCHOOL HORSES
$40 EACH, AVAILABLE TO RIDERS BASED ON HORSE AVAILABILITY
Rider must be able to confidently tack up, un-tack and take care of all aspects of the horse without trainer supervision. Trainer or parent attendance required.
LESSON PREPARATION
We ask that you arrive ~30 minutes before your lesson to get your horse ready, and that you are prepared to stay ~30 minutes after the lesson to put your horse away. We believe in teaching horsemanship in every area from the ground up. All students are taught how to groom and tack up their horse and how to properly care for their mount and tack after their lesson.
LESSON CANCELLATIONS AND MAKE UPS
We offer "built in" make up lessons several times per year, occurring in the months where there is a 5th lesson on the rider's designated lesson day. These free lessons are offered to serve as make ups for whenever a student must miss due to holiday, illness, vacation, etc. We are not able to offer make up lessons outside of this policy.

Meet Our Lesson Ponies
Topline Equestrian has chosen the barn's school horses based on quality, temperament, and their kind "teacher" dispositions. Many of the lesson ponies are available for half and full lease. We welcome and encourage intermediate and advanced riders to lease and/or purchase their own mount and are experienced in assisting with that process. Contact us for more information on half-leasing, full leasing or purchasing your next riding partner.
